During a live show in Las Vegas, Adele suddenly lost her temper.
Adele (36) usually aims to delight her fans with her voice and songs during her live performances.
However, this time she had to sternly put a fan in their place. The pop star had some strong words.
For many years, Adele has been an active advocate for the rights of the LGBTQI+ community. Whether it’s a cape in the appropriate colors, a song dedicated to the LGBTQI+ community like “I Set Fire To The Rain,” or support at live shows – Adele wants to make lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people visible.
However, it seems that this passionate support doesn’t sit well with all of the British singer’s fan base. An incident at a performance in Las Vegas shows that Adele is ready to defend her values, even with a harsh tone.
Adele Fires Back at Fan
During her “Weekends with Adele” show, the 36-year-old passionately spoke about the LGBTQI+ community and reiterated her support for the scene. However, she was abruptly interrupted by a rude outburst from an audience member in Las Vegas.
“Pride is s,” the audience member shouted, driving the singer into a rage. “Are you fing stupid? Don’t be so fing ridiculous. If you don’t have anything nice to say, then shut the f up, okay?” the visibly angry singer retorted to the heckler.
Such outbursts are rare for the 16-time Grammy winner. Equally rare are deep insights into the private life of the 36-year-old, but an interview with Oprah in 2024 was one of those exceptions.
Speaking to “Out Magazine,” Adele explained how much the support from the LGBTQI+ community means to her: “I get a lot of emails from people saying that I make them very happy in how they see themselves and that they are very at peace with who they are, which I love.”
