Jason Momoa just shook the internet by revealing his new girlfriend on Instagram this Monday, and people can’t stop talking about them!
While some fans might be shocked, those who’ve been paying close attention could tell something was brewing for a while. Momoa has been dropping subtle hints about their relationship, giving his followers clues that something special was happening.
The 44-year-old actor first met his new love, a 32-year-old actress, while filming the 2021 Netflix movie Sweet Girl. But here’s where it gets interesting: at that time, Momoa was still married to Lisa Bonet. However, there’s a twist! Although they were legally married, Momoa and Bonet had been separated for over five years.
The official separation between Bonet and Momoa happened on October 7, 2020, so by the time he and Arjona started dating, there was no drama or conflict. Earlier this year, on January 8, Bonet filed for divorce, and just one day later, their divorce was finalized without any issues.
Now that everything’s out in the open, Momoa went all out on Instagram, sharing a bunch of photos from his and Arjona’s recent trip to Japan. He couldn’t wait to show off his love for her, and he even called her “mi amor,” which means “my love” in Spanish. If the words didn’t melt your heart, their sweet photos together definitely would!
One picture, in particular, caught everyone’s eye. In it, Arjona is gently resting her hand on Momoa’s arm, while he wraps his arms around her in a loving embrace. Their body language screams love and connection, leaving no doubt about how much they mean to each other.
