Amid persistent rumors of a marriage crisis between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, the singer has spoken out against the “negativity in the world out there.”

After ongoing media reports about an alleged marriage crisis with Ben Affleck (51), the singer completely canceled her North American tour planned for the summer last weekend. In addition, Lopez has repeatedly been demonstratively seen alongside Affleck at public events. Now, the 54-year-old has also spoken out in a personal letter against “negativity.”

In a new “On The JLo” newsletter sent to subscribers of the singer on Wednesday (June 5), Lopez first thanked her fans for making her new Netflix movie “Atlas” number one on the streaming service for the second week in a row. “Thank you all so much!!!” writes “J.Lo,” according to the US portal “Page Six.”
Then come words that leave much room for interpretation. “It may seem like there is so much negativity in the world out there right now… but don’t let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there,” says Lopez. Whether the singer’s statement refers to the media speculation of recent weeks remains unclear. She has not yet officially commented on the status of her marriage.
Most recently, the singer appeared publicly with husband Affleck on June 2 when the spouses attended a basketball game of his son Samuel (12) together. The two superstars allegedly arrived separately at the event. On-site, Affleck and Lopez hugged and kissed each other. However, according to US media reports, not on the lips. Allegedly, Lopez and Affleck briefly pressed their cheeks together, and with this rather friendly kiss, they could not really dispel rumors of a crisis in their marriage.
