Beneath a farm near Verona, Italy, a stunning Roman mosaic has been unearthed. Draftsmen made this incredible find in the Negrar di Valpolicella area in northeastern Italy. The mosaic was discovered more than a century after the ruins of an ancient villa were first found at the same site. Archaeologists believe this intricate floor might have been part of an earlier building. “After decades of unsuccessful attempts,” the mosaic was finally uncovered.
