I’ve always loved theater, and I really admire people who have the courage to perform on stage. Singing, acting, or dancing in front of an audience takes a lot of practice, and even adults need years of training to get it right.
But what if I told you one of the most impressive performers I’ve ever seen isn’t even an adult? He’s just three years old! Yes, you read that right—a three-year-old singing the National Anthem! And this little superstar has already captured the hearts of thousands.
A video of him singing has gone viral, with nearly half a million views online. Clearly, people can’t get enough of his incredible talent!
Drake Winslow, who is only three, made history as the youngest person to ever sing the National Anthem during a School Day game in Syracuse, New York. And it wasn’t a small event—he sang in front of a massive crowd of 6,000 people!
Drake didn’t miss a note. His performance was absolutely perfect, and the audience loved it so much that they gave him a standing ovation. His proud mom, Chelsea, was right behind him the whole time, supporting him. After the performance, she said, “I just think he’s too little to realize how big of a deal it is.”
Chelsea shared how they try to keep things easy and fun for him, saying, “We don’t talk about it too much, and we try to stay calm for him. Nobody asks him if he’s nervous. Honestly, I don’t think he even knows what being nervous means!”
Drake’s love for singing started at home. According to Chelsea, he has always enjoyed singing around the house, but his absolute favorite song has always been the National Anthem—the Star-Spangled Banner. And after his big moment, it seems like he’s ready to do it again! Tip Hero reported that Drake is already excited to perform the anthem one more time.
If you haven’t seen this adorable and talented young singer in action yet, you’re in for a treat. Watch Drake’s amazing performance in the video below, and prepare to be wowed by this little star!
