Cameron Diaz is a dream woman – not just for movie fans. The Hollywood star has turned the heads of many equally well-known men. One of them still has a direct line to the actress.

She has dated the crème de la crème: Matt Dillon, 61, Jared Leto, 53, Justin Timberlake, 44, and Alex Rodríguez, 49, were all, at least for a while, by Cameron Diaz’s side. However, for the past ten years, the There’s Something About Mary star has been firmly committed. In 2015, she married musician Benjamin Madden, 46, and the couple now shares two children. Still, it seems the actress hasn’t completely let old flames die out. One of her famous ex-boyfriends has now shared some details.

Cameron Diaz sends “friendly messages”

He’s a well-known British model who also made a name for himself in film and television: Paul Sculfor, 54, had his face plastered across billboards and magazine covers in the 1990s and walked the runway for top designers. These days, he works as a mental coach—and occasionally gives interviews. Recently, he revealed a sweet little secret involving his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz.

The actress isn’t the only Hollywood beauty Sculfor, who was born in Essex, has dated. It’s well-known that Friends star Jennifer Aniston, 56, also enjoyed being by his side. And apparently, Sculfor parted on good terms with both women, as he casually mentioned in an interview with Hello:
“We still text from time to time. Of course, we’re all married and grown up now, so I just text like I would to many people—to say, ‘Hey, how are you? Hope everything’s okay.’ Friendly stuff.”

It seems, however, that the connection isn’t all that close—otherwise, he might not have so quickly lumped Aniston together with his married exes. The actress has been married twice—once to Brad Pitt, 61, and then to Justin Theroux, 53—but both marriages are long over. Seven years after her divorce from Theroux, Aniston has decided to re-enter the dating world and is even open to more. “Nothing in my past gives me any reason to harden or build walls around myself,” she said in a 2019 interview with Harper’s Bazaar. In short: neither her marriages nor her five-month romance with Sculfor have shaken her faith in love.

Paul Sculfor has found his dream woman

Sculfor and Diaz were together for about a year in 2008. Afterward, he said:
“I love being single. It was my choice to be single. It’s great to be on my own—you don’t want to tie yourself down, do you? I like being single and I wouldn’t want it any other way right now.”

However, ten years ago, he met his soulmate on Valentine’s Day. Today, he and Federica have two daughters, aged seven and five.

“She brought a lot of light, fun, and stability into my life, along with a beautiful partnership. She’s Italian, from Rome, and she’s an academic, but she also has this beautiful, natural, spiritually calm side. She’s just naturally a loving person who radiates kindness,” he gushed about his wife.

“I know we’re meant to be because we just work together. We share the same values and are committed to being good parents.”

Thus, both Sculfor and Diaz have found happiness in their private lives—just not with each other. Nevertheless, they have apparently maintained a long-distance friendship—a true happy ending of a very grounded kind.
