Susan’s Friday Night Showdown
Fridays had turned into a nightmare for Susan, all thanks to her neighbor Jessica’s guests, who always parked in her driveway. After putting up with this for too long and having many evenings ruined, Susan decided it was time to take matters into her own hands.
Frustration Boils Over
Every Friday night, Susan would come home, tired from a long day at work, only to find a strange car blocking her driveway. This wasn’t just a one-time thing—it happened every week. Frustrated, Susan had confronted Jessica multiple times.
“Jessica, this has to stop!” Susan insisted one evening.
But Jessica just shrugged, clearly not caring. “It’s just one night, Susan. You can park on the street,” she said casually, as if it was no big deal.
Emergency Escalation
Then, one night, things got even worse. Susan got a frantic call from her mom, who needed to go to the hospital right away. Panicked, Susan rushed outside, only to find her driveway blocked again by another guest’s car. Desperate and with no other option, she had to call a taxi to get her mom to the hospital. This was the breaking point for Susan. She knew she had to do something.
Revenge Unleashed
The following Friday, Susan was ready to fight back. When Jessica’s guests, as usual, parked in her driveway, Susan didn’t say a word to Jessica. Instead, she waited until the guests were inside and then drove her car in behind theirs, blocking them in completely.
Later that evening, there was a loud knock on Susan’s door. Jessica was standing there, furious.
“Susan, move your car right now! My guests need to leave!” Jessica demanded, clearly expecting Susan to give in.
But Susan had reached her limit. She looked Jessica straight in the eye and said calmly, “No, Jessica. I’ve had enough of your parties and the trouble they cause me. This is my driveway, and I’m not moving my car.”
Police Intervention
Fuming, Jessica decided to call the police, confident that they would make Susan move her car. When Officer Miller arrived, he listened to both sides of the story. Jessica was still angry, thinking she would win this fight.
But Susan had thought ahead. She walked out to meet the officer, pretending to be tipsy. “Oh, Officer, I’d love to move my car, but I’ve had a little too much to drink tonight. I don’t think it’s safe for me to drive,” she explained with a sly smile.
Officer Miller looked at Susan and then at Jessica. “If she’s been drinking, she can’t legally drive. And as long as her car is on her property, there’s nothing we can do,” he said, shrugging.
Jessica was livid, but there was nothing more she could do. The officer left, and Susan’s car stayed right where it was, blocking Jessica’s guests in for the rest of the night.
Resolution
The next morning, Susan decided to take her revenge one step further. She went down to the police station and filed a formal complaint about the repeated parking violations. Officer Miller, already familiar with the situation, reviewed her complaint and decided to issue fines to Jessica’s guests for parking illegally in Susan’s driveway.
The story spread quickly through the neighborhood, and soon everyone was talking about how Susan had stood up to Jessica and her inconsiderate guests. From that day on, no one dared to park in Susan’s driveway again.
