On its Instagram account, the American magazine posted several charming photos showing Gabourey and Brandon holding their newborns in their arms. Their happiness is clearly visible. The “Precious” actress and her husband have welcomed a girl and a boy. In an interview with “The Shade Room,” the proud parents also revealed the names of their children.
“Brandon always wanted to name a son Cooper, so we could call him ‘Coop,’ and Maya was named just before our babymoon at the Riviera Maya in Mexico. Both twins have traditional West African middle names after members of my family,” explained the actress, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2010.
How the actress announced her pregnancy
“I’m pregnant!” the actress wrote on her Instagram channel in February this year. She posted a photo of herself in a pink dress that flattered her baby bump, with husband Brandon Frankel hugging his pregnant wife from behind. In other snapshots, the couple is seen with a twin stroller and Sidibe in front of a baby store. “Twin delivery coming soon!” she added.
