Lacey Chabert is famous for her role in Mean Girls and many other films. It seemed like she was on a path to stardom, but time has changed things.
While many of her co-stars, like Lindsay Lohan, stayed in the spotlight despite their challenges, Lacey has taken a different route. Though she may not be making headlines like before, she’s doing well.
In September 2016, Lacey welcomed her daughter, Julia. This new chapter in her life shifted her focus from Hollywood to motherhood, and she also took care of her Chihuahua, Kitty.
Excited about her baby’s arrival, Lacey knew her priorities would change. Balancing being a new mom with an entertainment career is no easy task.
Reflecting on her journey in 2018, she said, “I think I would have been surprised if you had told me two years ago that this is what my career would look like today, but it’s such a great fit for who I am and where I am in my life right now.”
Despite her personal achievements, many still see her as the “mean girl” from her movies, and it feels like she’s stuck in that role. While her colleagues in Hollywood advanced, she seemed to stay behind.
It’s important to note that many of her peers made millions the same year she gave birth. Since Mean Girls, her films haven’t made big waves, and it’s been almost a decade since she starred in a major movie.
However, that doesn’t mean she isn’t successful. Her estimated net worth is $4 million, which might seem small compared to some of her co-stars but is still impressive.
Lacey loves her small-town roots and is proud of them, even though she had a great time in Hollywood and appreciated the support she received there.
