At the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York City, Ryan Reynolds couldn’t wait to share some exciting news about his family. He revealed the name of his youngest child with Blake Lively, much to everyone’s delight.
He addressed the crowd, saying, “I want to start by saying thank you to my wife, Blake, who is here.” He also gave a shout-out to his kids: “I’d like to thank my wonderful children, Olin, Betty, Inez, and James. I hope this movie is the most memorable experience of your lives—well, the movie itself, not the event tonight!”
Ryan added with a big smile, “It’s great that my whole family is here.”

Ryan, 47, and Blake, 36, are parents to three daughters: Betty, 4; Inez, 7; and James, 9. After news broke that Blake was expecting their fourth child, the couple welcomed their new baby in February of the previous year.
On February 13, 2023, Ryan shared their excitement on CNBC’s Power Lunch, saying, “We are ecstatic. Look, if we didn’t love this, we wouldn’t keep doing it four times.”
He added, “Everyone is doing fantastic. Everyone is doing incredibly well. We would be in serious trouble if we hadn’t figured it out by now.”
Ryan had kept the name and gender of their new baby a secret at the time. He told Today, “We never find out until the baby is born.” He laughed and said, “I’m kind of hoping for another girl, but I’m ready for whatever comes.”
