Saying goodbye is hard for Tom Kaulitz – even to beautiful moments with his wife, he just doesn’t want them to end.
Tom Kaulitz (34) and Heidi Klum (50) have been married for almost five years, and their love seems as strong as ever. On red carpets, they still appear as in love as on their first day, always seeking each other’s proximity, sharing kisses, and exchanging affectionate glances. The “Tokio Hotel” guitarist’s enjoyment of time with his wife is also evident in the latest episode of his podcast “Kaulitz Hills – Senf aus Hollywood,” which he co-hosts with his twin brother Bill Kaulitz (34).
In their podcast, the twins discuss their shared difficulty in letting go of moments. In the past, they were always the last to leave parties (at least Tom has changed in this regard) – but this also applies to moving houses, vacations, or even just a regular day, which always seems to pass too quickly for them. “Why are we like this,” Tom wonders, “I still have trouble finding an end to certain things.”
Tom Kaulitz Gets “Emotional” When Moments Pass
Whether it’s a fun party, a beautiful vacation, or any other time, he always gets “emotional” when moments come to an end. Even a simple film: “When I’m lying in bed with something tasty to snack on, a nice wine open, lying comfortably in bed with my wife watching a good movie, I don’t want that moment to ever end,” Tom explains.
Bill Kaulitz Finds It Hard to Let Go
He believes this “problem” stems from their childhood. “Mom and Dad separated early, and we often had this weekend thing,” he recalls. The train ride back from their father’s place and saying goodbye was difficult for the twins back then – and still is. Bill shares the sentiment, saying, “I also find it hard to let go of people, situations, and beautiful moments.”
Tom Kaulitz and Heidi Klum Have “Fully Settled” in Their Home
It’s no surprise that they are certain they won’t be moving again. Tom explains that he and Heidi have “fully settled” in their Los Angeles home. He can’t imagine a complete move anymore – only additional residences might be conceivable, but with new furniture, of course, Bill adds, laughing.
