Whoopi Goldberg’s Birthday Celebration Gets Hilariously Wild on The View

Since 2007, Whoopi Goldberg has been a familiar face on The View, where she serves as both a host and moderator. Over the years, the Oscar-winning actress has made her mark with her quick wit and bold personality. On Wednesday, November 13, the show turned into a lively celebration as the cast honored Whoopi’s 69th birthday with games, laughter, and plenty of surprises.

One particularly funny moment featured Whoopi standing behind a giant wheel of cheese—complete with her face printed on it! This playful setup immediately caught the attention of the audience and her fellow co-hosts.

“I’ve always wanted my face on cheese!” joked Sara Haines, laughing as she admired the quirky gift.

In response, Whoopi casually added, “Well, I’d rather eat it sometimes.”

The studio erupted into gasps, laughter, and cheers as Sara’s expression shifted to one of mock surprise, realizing the cheeky undertone of Whoopi’s comment. Unable to contain her laughter, Sara playfully walked off, pretending to be shocked.

As the chaos settled, Whoopi joked further, “Never mind. This 24-month-matured wheel of genuine Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy is a perfect example of Italian quality and tradition.” Her comedic delivery only added to the hilarity, leaving everyone in stitches.

Before Sara returned to her seat, Whoopi turned to the audience with another quip: “And eat Whoopi Goldberg if you want a chance to win a wheel like this one!” Then, with perfect comic timing, she added, “That’s right! No, seriously, just have some food!”

The lighthearted fun reminded everyone why Whoopi is such a beloved presence on the show.

But it’s not all laughs with Whoopi—she’s also known for sharing deeply personal stories. Earlier this year, she surprised fans by revealing a unique way she honored her late mother’s memory.

During an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Whoopi shared that she decided to scatter her mother’s ashes in a place her mom loved: Disneyland.

“No one should do this,” Whoopi warned with a sly smile. She explained that her mother adored the It’s a Small World ride, which first debuted at the World’s Fair when Whoopi was a child.

“I would go on the ride, pretend to sneeze, and—scoop!” she said, mimicking the motion. “Just a little bit of her, here and there.”

Whoopi chuckled as she recounted another moment near Disneyland’s flower gardens. “I’d say, ‘Oh, look at that!’” she said, mimicking another fake sneeze. The story had Seth Meyers and the audience roaring with laughter.

Though unorthodox, Whoopi’s actions stemmed from a place of love and deep connection to her mother’s favorite memories.

From her hilarious birthday antics to her heartfelt tributes, Whoopi Goldberg knows how to keep her audience entertained and engaged. Whether she’s making us laugh or touching our hearts, she remains one of the most unique and authentic voices on television.
