Without a doubt, nobody wants to beg and survive off what others give them. Anyone in this situation has likely had a tough life, which would be hard for any of us to handle.
Most people have a bad attitude when they see a beggar and don’t rush to help. Some even make fun of them, treating them as less than human.
Casey Fischer is different. She always tries to help when she can. One day, she saw a beggar on the street trying to get some money. The man came into a café where Casey was, but he had only managed to get one dollar from the patrons.
Casey noticed him and called him over to her table. She offered to buy him a pretzel and coffee, thinking it might brighten his day.
