Pamela Anderson, best known for her role in Baywatch, has completely reinvented herself as a natural beauty after years of living in the fast lane.
At 56, she broke away from the sex symbol image that had defined her for many years by appearing at Paris Fashion Week in 2023 without makeup.
She stunned on the red carpet in an all-white outfit: a loose-fitting top, wide-leg pants, and a cream-colored blazer draped over her shoulders. She wore simple silver stud earrings, and her hair was pulled back into a low ponytail to highlight her natural beauty.
In an interview with Allure, Anderson shared that her glamorous appearance was never who she truly was.
“My name [suggests] a bad image when taken out of context. I like to call these ‘Halloween costumes’ that I’ve worn on my trip from Playboy to Baywatch. Now that I’ve returned to my place of self-acceptance and self-love, I just feel like it’s okay.” She added, “What I’m into today is an intentional choice.”

Canadian Roots
Anderson, previously married to rock stars Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, and the drummer for Mötley Crüe, left Hollywood’s hustle and bustle a few years ago and returned to her native Canada.
A vegan and PETA representative, Anderson has been refurbishing the picturesque Vancouver Island beach house she bought from her grandparents over thirty years ago.
On Instagram, Anderson posted, “It celebrates the magic of scenic settings where nature always has a proud seat at the table.”
This six-acre property, located on the strait between the island and British Columbia’s mainland, is where she spent her early years. Her parents owned one of the nine wooden cabins her grandfather built many years ago; eight of these cabins have since been demolished.
“Mermaid Castle”
In the 1990s, Anderson played the Tool Time Girl on the sitcom Home Improvement and had big plans for her home’s rustic and “sexy” renovations: “I want something crazy, seductive, and wild! This is my mermaid castle, and I am a mermaid.”
Her love for nature and carefree attitude is reflected in the “cheap and cheerful makeover” of the property, which now boasts sweeping gardens and a barn.
The historic pier was restored with a pavilion, allowing her to dine al fresco overlooking the glistening lake. The boathouse is now a lakefront residence.
“Life is Laundry”
While the area was being renovated, Anderson moved into The Roadhouse, a former small shop for visitors staying in the vacation cabins.
She admits that doing laundry is her “happy place” and a part of her “self-care ritual.” She prioritized creating a laundry room to maintain this ritual.
In an Instagram video, Anderson says, “It has to be done, might as well make it fun. I see it as a chance to sort of retreat and spend time by myself. It is contemplative.”
